You stay in a Bush Chalet on a full-board basis with game activities included. The camp accommodates guests in spacious tented accommodation with private verandas overlooking the waterhole. The main areas include an iconic A-frame lounge and dining space, plunge pool, firepit, al fresco dining areas, underground wine cellar, and famous waterhole hide.
Your days can include morning and afternoon game drives, guided bush walks, night drives, and hide sits overlooking the waterhole. You may enjoy up to four daily activities, allowing your safari rhythm to be shaped around wildlife movement and your personal interests.

Land and Water Safari
Your journey continues to a remote lakeshore setting where safari activities unfold both on land and water. Changa Safari Camp is set in a quiet corner of Matusadona National Park, with direct access to the edge of Lake Kariba and views towards the surrounding mountains.
You stay in a Bush Chalet on a full-board basis with game activities included. The camp offers luxury tented accommodation, including tented suites and family suites, with open-air lounge areas, a pool, spa, yoga facilities, laundry service, and Wi-Fi in the main areas.
This stage of the journey gives you a different safari rhythm. You can enjoy guided game drives, walking safaris, and boat cruises, combining classic wildlife viewing with the atmosphere of a lakeshore wilderness. The area is known for hippo, crocodile, elephant, buffalo, waterbuck, impala, kudu, and occasional zebra sightings.
Between activities, you can relax at camp, enjoy the pool, take part in yoga, visit the spa, or settle into the evening with a safari sundowner. This stay adds variety to the itinerary by blending water-based exploration with traditional game viewing.

Private Pan Wilderness
You then move into a quieter wilderness area known for privacy, walking safaris, and strong predator potential. Ingwe Pan Camp is set around one of the largest pans in Mana Pools National Park, surrounded by Jackalberry, Nyala berry, Fig, and Baobab trees. The setting gives you an intimate base with excellent on-site wildlife viewing.
You stay in a Luxury Tent on a full-board basis with game activities included. The camp is made up of large Meru-style tents positioned around the southern side of the pan, allowing you to remain close to the landscape throughout your stay. Each tent offers comfort, space, and the opportunity to view wildlife directly from your own accommodation.
Your activities include morning and late afternoon game drives, professionally guided walking safaris, and game viewing from camp. Canoeing may also be arranged with advance notice, offering you a peaceful way to experience the river environment from a different perspective.
The area is known for leopard sightings, male lions, elephant, buffalo, kudu, impala, warthog, nyala, and, at certain times of year, wild dog activity. Night skies here are especially impressive, with very little interruption from other camps or outside light.

Classic Walking Safari Finale
Your final safari chapter takes you deeper into a classic wilderness setting, where the experience feels intimate, traditional, and strongly connected to the surrounding floodplain. John’s Camp is set beneath canopies of Trichelia and Mahogany trees in the heart of Mana Pools National Park, offering you an authentic safari atmosphere with a relaxed camp rhythm.
You stay in a Guest Tent on a full-board basis with game activities included. The camp consists of six twin or double en-suite Meru-style tents, a central dining area, boma, and a star-gazing sleep-out platform for guests seeking a more adventurous night under the sky.
Your experience here focuses on guided walking safaris, game drives, seasonal canoeing, birdwatching, cultural visits, and time spent relaxing in camp. Walking safaris are a major highlight, allowing you to explore the ecosystem at a slower pace with experienced professional guides.
Across the floodplain, you may encounter elephant, buffalo, lion, hippo, and abundant birdlife. Evenings are centred around the fire, with relaxed communal dining and a strong sense of wilderness closure. This final stay brings together walking, wildlife, atmosphere, and classic safari simplicity.

International Departure
After your final morning in the wilderness, you check out from John’s Camp and begin your onward journey. The adventure concludes with a transfer to Mana Main Airstrip, followed by a scheduled flight to Harare Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, marking the end of your 14 Nights Wild Zimbabwe Mid-Adventure.
