Building circular, low-waste tourism destinations by preventing waste, keeping materials in use and turning discarded materials into new products, jobs and local income.

We work with tourism businesses, communities and waste partners to improve waste collection and separation, expand reuse, recycling, composting and upcycling, and reduce waste entering dumpsites and natural areas.

Our first project is Tisamalire Lilongwe, meaning “Let us care for Lilongwe.” The project brings together local communities, businesses and waste partners together to reduce waste, recover useful materials and support practical solutions that keep Lilongwe cleaner while creating local value from waste.
