The Itinerary

Days 1-5

Amanzi Camp | Lower Zambezi National Park (4 Nights)

Riverfront Wilderness Introduction

Arrival into the journey set’s a strong wilderness positioning with a seamless air transfer into a private bush setting. A short onward connection leads into a highly exclusive river-based camp environment where the landscape is defined by open water systems, wildlife movement, and uninterrupted natural frontage.

Amanzi Camp is an ultra-intimate luxury camp offering only a handful of tented suites positioned within a pristine riverine ecosystem. Each suite is designed for maximum privacy with elevated views and direct access to a river-facing deck. The main area is structured around open-air living, combining lounge, dining, and pool spaces that reinforce a fully immersive bush experience.

Core activities focus on flexible, high-value safari delivery including guided game drives, walking safaris, canoeing, boating excursions, birding, and seasonal fishing. The experience is structured to remain fluid, with daily programming adapted to wildlife movement and guest preference.

Transfers & Flights: Scheduled flight from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport into Royal Airstrip followed by road transfer into camp. All logistics are fully coordinated for seamless access.

Days 5 - 9

Tena Tena Camp | South Luangwa National Park (4 Nights)

Remote Walking Safari Territory

The itinerary continues with a regional air connection into a second safari region known for its remote positioning and high-density wildlife encounters. Arrival transitions directly into a deeply authentic bush environment with strong emphasis on guided exploration and walking-based safari systems.

Tena Tena Camp is a small-scale luxury bush camp designed for exclusivity and immersion. Tented suites are positioned for privacy and direct engagement with the surrounding environment. The central guest area supports communal dining, relaxed lounge space, and an open fire setting that reinforces the camp’s traditional safari identity.

The experience is driven by guided walking safaris, day and night game drives, wildlife hides, and interpretive bush experiences. The guiding product is a core differentiator, with strong focus on tracking, ecology, and behavioural wildlife interpretation.

Transfers & Flights: Flight connection from Royal Airstrip to Mfuwe Airport followed by road transfer into camp. Return routing mirrors arrival logistics with coordinated airport departure back to Lusaka.

Day 9

Departure Day

International Connection and Departure

A final early morning transfer connects back to Mfuwe Airport for the return flight into Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, linking into onward international departure arrangements.

The itinerary concludes with a high-impact safari circuit combining river-based wilderness, immersive walking safari terrain, and consistent wildlife density across two distinct ecological zones.
