“Very well organised and positioned camp. Rooms/tents were lovely and had a fantastic day bed overlooking the Zambezi. Food very good and staff and guide were great. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed an amazing tour of Victoria Falls. Lovely sunset cruise and having the river right there is very special. “Absolutely beautiful camp on the river. The room was perfect with very comfortable beds, great shower indoor & outdoor. Hairdryer in room. Sunset cruise was awesome! Beautiful scenery, fast moving Zambezi river, family of elephants swimming & playing on the river bank. Victoria Falls is more stunning than I imagined. Tina took great care of us for every meal. Chef Flower baked us a special anniversary cake!! Our guide Blessed taught us history & animal behavior.” Date of stay: May 2025

An incredible luxurious stay at Mpala Jena
“My husband and I and our two adult children spent 3 fabulous days at Mpala Jena. You definitely want to arrive by boat! The location right on the river is so stunning as is the incredible ‘beachy’ safari decor. Attention to detail in the decor is amazing. We stayed in a two bedroom family suite and thoroughly enjoyed our expansive deck and very large living room space between our two luxurious rooms. Loved waking to the sounds of grunting hippos each morning, and a couple times we had to be escorted to the main area by staff because the resident hippo liked to hang out in the grassy area right in front of out suite.” Date of stay: April 2025
