Set in a unique location in the Kafue National Park, Konkamoya sits on the shores of the Itezhi-Tezhi Lake and it is one of the most glorious spots for any wildlife lover to discover. Being the only lodge on the lake you are presented with an intimate and exclusive safari experience.

Exclusivity

The prime game viewing area in Kafue National Park boasts few camps so you can expect to have very few other guests or vehicles at a sighting. This beautiful and seasonal part of the park also delivers fantastic photographic opportunities with striking scenery, water and plenty of wildlife.

The Lake

With just 4 tents and a max of 8 guests, Konkamoya gives you a feeling of exclusive bush luxury where the wonderful team of staff are totally devoted to ensuring you have a memorable stay and every one of your needs is catered for. An intimate and personal experience.

The Aardvark Expedition

This are of the park is known for the fantastic wildlife density, with a special concentration of lion, you’ll also find here hippo, elephant, wild dog, buffalo, wildebeest, lechwe, roan, cheetah, and astounding birdlife including the endemic Chaplin’s barbet.

  • Fantastic stay

    We stayed the weekend at Konkamoya, and it was just beautiful.
    The new chalets are very spacious, pampering (great bodywash, shampoo etc made in Zambia) and relaxing (very good beds, a huge fan and a perfect shower). The food and drinks… Italian style, delicious! And the team… great hosts and wonderful guides!
    All that set in an amazing national park (lions and elephants!); highly recommended.

  • Kokamoya, a truely wondeful destination in the Kafue National Park!

    Konkamoya is any travellers dream come true and an incredible Safari experience, where clients should spend at least two to three nights to unwind.
    We hope to be able to visit you and Konkamoya again soon.

  • Top lodge in Kafue

    Konkamoya lodge has been recommended to us by Evan from Royal African Experience travel agency in Livingstone (see my review there). It was a phantastic experience and we were sorry for only having booked 2 nights. The location of the lodge is perfect right – next to lake Itezhi Tezhi with fantastic sunrises and sunsets.
