Days 1 - 3

Insika Lodge | Victoria Falls (2 Nights)

Refined Riverside Arrival

Your journey begins with a refined arrival near one of Africa’s most iconic natural landmarks. Insika Lodge offers you an elegant and immersive start, set within indigenous mopane woodland and designed to combine comfort, nature, and cultural connection.

You stay in a Signature Room on a full-board basis with activities included. Your room features a private veranda, scenic views, a king-size XL bed, air conditioning, a reading nook, workstation, stocked bar fridge, tea and coffee station, and a spacious bathroom with a couples shower, oversized bathtub, twin vanity, and private toilet.

During your stay, you can ease into the journey with sunrise and sunset cruises, guided waterfall tours, helicopter flights, village visits, sunrise yoga cruises, and optional adventure activities such as white-water rafting, zip-lining, and bungee jumping. Around the lodge, you can relax at the spa and sauna, cool off in the infinity pool, watch wildlife from the viewing deck, or gather around the firepit under the stars.

Royal Zambezi Lodge | Lower Zambezi National Park (4 Nights)

Private Riverfront Safari

You then continue into a luxurious riverfront safari setting, where wilderness, comfort, and expertly guided activities come together. Royal Zambezi Lodge is set on a private reserve along a pristine stretch of the Lower Zambezi River, offering you a refined yet intimate base for exploring one of Zambia’s most celebrated safari landscapes.

Kafunta River Lodge | South Luangwa National Park (3 Nights)

Classic Floodplain Safari

Your journey continues into a classic Zambian safari setting, where wide floodplains, river views, and strong wildlife movement define the experience. Kafunta River Lodge offers you a relaxed and authentic base on the edge of the Luangwa floodplain, with panoramic views across one of Africa’s most rewarding game-viewing landscapes.

You stay in a Standard Room on a full-board basis with game activities included. The lodge has an intimate atmosphere, with spacious central areas built around a semi-evergreen wild mango tree, a bar and dining area, an infinity pool, a natural hot spring tub, and excellent views over the floodplain and river.

Your activities include morning, afternoon, and night game drives, guided bush walks, village and cultural tours, and wellness spa experiences. During peak season, the lodge accesses the national park via its own pontoon, adding a special sense of arrival into the safari area.

Between activities, you can unwind in the natural hot spring tub, relax by the infinity pool, or simply watch wildlife and birdlife from the lodge. This stay brings you close to the rhythm of the South Luangwa wilderness while still offering comfort and attentive hospitality.

Days 10 - 13

Mvuu Lodge | Liwonde National Park (3 Nights)

Lagoon and River Wilderness

You then move into Malawi’s riverine wilderness, where lagoon views, river safaris, and diverse wildlife create a gentle yet rewarding safari chapter. Mvuu Lodge is discreetly positioned on the banks of a lagoon just off the Shire River, offering you a peaceful setting within Liwonde National Park.

You stay in a Bush Chalet on a full-board basis with game activities included. The lodge features wooden dining decks, a main lounge set above the water, a swimming pool reached by a raised wooden walkway, and a yoga deck built with local materials. Each room is designed to keep you close to the water and surrounding wildlife.

Your activities include early morning bush walks, slow river safaris, game drives, sundowner safaris, bush dining, photographic hides, and community engagement. The area is known for elephant, hippo, reedbuck, waterbuck, sable, buffalo, zebra, roan, eland, and rare black rhino within the protected sanctuary area.

Days 13 - 15

Mumbo Island Camp | Lake Malawi (2 Nights)

Rustic Island Escape

Your journey then shifts from safari to island wilderness, giving you time to slow down beside clear freshwater and forested shores. Mumbo Island Camp offers you a rustic, eco-conscious island experience with privacy, simplicity, and a strong sense of natural charm.

You stay in a Forest View Chalet on a full-board basis with non-motorised water sports included. The camp is built from timber, thatch, and canvas, perched above the water and blended into the surrounding foliage. Your chalet includes a shaded deck, hammock, hot bucket shower, and eco-loo, creating a relaxed “Robinson Crusoe” atmosphere.

Your days are completely flexible. You can swim in warm, clear water, snorkel in fish-filled bays, kayak around the island, explore hidden coves and caves, hike through Miombo forest, or simply relax in your hammock. Longer guided kayak excursions, sunset cruises, and scuba diving may be arranged separately.

This stay gives you space to disconnect, rest, and enjoy one of Malawi’s most naturally beautiful island settings.

Transfers & Flights: You transfer from Mvuu Lodge to the Charlie Charlie pick-up point, continue to the Kayak Africa mainland point, and transfer onward to Mumbo Island Camp.

Days 10 - 13

The Crafted Residence | Lilongwe (1 Night)

After your island stay, you return to the city for a comfortable overnight reset before continuing to the coast. The Crafted Residence offers you a peaceful garden retreat in Lilongwe, with a home-style atmosphere and easy access to shops, restaurants, and business hubs.

This stop gives you time to rest, refresh, repack, and prepare for the next stage of your journey.

Days 16 - 18

Villa Sands | Ilha de Mozambique (2 Nights)

Historic Coastal Discovery

You then continue to the Indian Ocean coast, where history, culture, seafood, and ocean views shape the experience. Villa Sands is a boutique hotel set on the western beach of Mozambique Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its distinctive blend of African, Arab, and European influences.

You stay in a Standard Room on a dinner, bed, and breakfast basis with non-motorised activities included. The hotel offers a restaurant, bar, lounge, swimming pool, beach access, water sports, spa, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and Wi-Fi.

During your stay, you can enjoy freshly caught seafood, sunset terrace drinks, beach time, boat trips, kayaking, snorkelling, bicycle tours, whale watching, cultural events, electric scooter rentals, paddleboarding, picnics on the private beach, or spa treatments.
