Set beside the shimmering waters of the Zibadianja Lagoon, Zarafa enjoys one of the most spectacular settings in northern Botswana. The lagoon feeds the legendary Savute Channel, drawing extraordinary herds of elephant and buffalo during the dry season. From dawn to dusk, wildlife is never far away—hippos snort in the water, elephants stroll through camp, and birdlife fills the air. Its position within the Selinda Reserve means guests are surrounded by thriving populations of predators and plains game year-round, making it a prime destination for any wildlife enthusiast.

Accommodation
With only four tented suites, Zarafa offers an exclusive experience shared by no more than eight guests at a time. Each suite has been carefully designed to combine elegance with eco-friendly principles, built entirely from reclaimed wood and canvas. Solar power drives the camp’s energy, while waste is recycled into cooking gas—demonstrating a rare balance of comfort and conservation. The interiors are spacious and beautifully appointed, complete with private verandas overlooking the lagoon. “This place is amazing; stunning property in a classic colonial style. Accommodations are of the highest standard with great attention to detail. Staff were outstanding and service was faultless but not stuffy or intrusive. Our guide, Joe, was terrific and very knowledgeable. Food was the best we had during our 3+ weeks in southern Africa.
