Time + Tide Chongwe House Tours

A private house set a peaceful spot along the Chongwe River with the mountains as it’s backdrop, this two-story house is ultimate luxury. It’s a short distance from Time + Tide Chongwe River Camp but here you are self-contained. It’s perfect for groups and families and offers an intimate and very personal experience

The house has an unusual design, but it is evident that it is luxurious and exclusive. The decor blends naturally into the peaceful setting and offers its guests private views over the river. Large open spaces, waterfall showers and open-air baths add to the uniqueness of this wonderful house. The touches throughout are thoughtful and some of the furniture has even been made from an old winter thorn tree.

The activities give you the opportunity to explore the incredible paradise that is around you. You can enjoy game drives and walking safaris or head out onto the river and explore the area by boat or canoe.

The dedicated team at Time + Tide Chongwe House will be sure to make your stay wonderful. They go the extra mile to ensure that everyone has a truly spectacular visit. • The most authentic staff I’ve encountered during my travels in Africa

I don’t even know where to begin to describe my experience at Time + Tide Chongwe Camp. The food was amazing. The room had everything you could need (and more!). Visions of doing yoga while on safari? They provide a yoga mat in each tent. Fancy a swim? They have a pool. Want to read up on the animals you just saw during your game drive? They have a nice collection of books on everything Africa.

  • Absolutely Stunning Camp and Location!

Greetings to George, Watson, Samson, Chef Michael, Flossie and everyone at Change River Camp. We couldn’t believe the suite we booked with our friends, two separate “tents” with outdoor bathrooms, and a common living, dining, swimming pool and fire pit, where Chef Michael cooked our breakfasts, and Watson took care of us for our four day stay.

  • Amazing

Accommodations, staff, food and safari’s were fantastic. The pictures don’t do it justice. We stayed for 3 days and did not want to leave. Every time we came back from a safari staff was waiting to greet us. What a great experience and great way to start our vacation!
