Incredible Views
The Zomba Plateau is simply beautiful, with some of the most glorious views Malawi has to offer. Exploring the plateau on foot is perfect, with guides that can take you out on guided walks – it is recommended as they do know the area like the back of their hand. The forest is serene and peaceful. If the skies are clear you get one of the best sunsets in the country, enjoy a glass of bubbles with a loved one and take in the views of the country below your feet.

The restaurant at Sunbird Ku Chawe offers an extensive a la carte menu to suit all palates, serving local and international cuisine. The breakfast buffet is a favourite with a wide selection of food to choose from. The bar offers a delicious wine list too which compliments some of the dishes on the dinner menu perfectly – just ask your friendly waiter for some advice.

The most amazing views
The scenic route to the top of the mountain where the hotel is located is breathtaking,and the views at the hotel are absolutely breathtaking,the hotel gardens are well kept and lush,the rooms are much bigger than the average hotel rooms and the bed very comfortable. the food at the breakfast buffet was very good ,with a wide range of options.

Beautiful views
The rooms have stunning views and I loved the brick walls and the cozy fireplace. The hotel restaurant offers a wide selection menu and the food is quite good. The internet is poor but if you want a place to escape to then this is the place. Cold weather so carry something warm.

The finest place to stay in Zomba!
This Sunbird hotel is relatively new and is placed on the edge of the gorgeous Zomba Plateau with a stunning view of the old Malawi capital of Zomba. This being Malawi, the service is extreme pleasant and attentive; you couldn’t hope for better service. They’re in the process of doing what looks to be a beautiful recreation of their dining room, with lovely deck, so for the time being meals are served in the bar, which is large enough for an expansive buffet and lots of tables.
