  • Wonderful cabins by the river

“Okavango Explorers was a comfortable camp with well appointed cabins, delicious food, and very friendly, helpful staff. We saw rare animals like wild African pigs and African painted dogs, but no large herds of animals. This was the first place we saw bull elephants and elephant “gardening”. There were unobstructed views of the night sky littered with stars! Our guides, Obbie and Surprise, searched for the elusive pangolin they had seen the day before, to no avail. We did see an amazing video made by the group who saw the pangolin the previous evening.” Date of stay: August 2024
