Great time off the beaten path
Gorongosa is an amazing destination, Chitengo resort/camp is great. It is a bit more of an adventure than the high end safari resorts but that is what makes it so great. They staff is amazing and accomodating in so many ways. Rooms were fine, food great and everybody is so friendly. Vervet monkeys, baboons and warthogs all around as well. A must see destination!

Beautiful spot inside Gorongosa Park! Definitely a place where you would like to stay if seeking for nature and relaxation. Lots of activities are offered, including the amazing safari that shows Mozambiçano’s progress on looking after in danger species. Very good food at the restaurant. Amazing staff that will definitely help you out. Thanks for everything 🙂

Perfect getaway
We had the opportunity to stay 5 days at this gorgeous place. Rooms are nicely equipped,.pretty clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had always a tasty breakfast with fresh fruits, cafe is delicious..Haven’t missed anything. Lunch and Dinner I can really recommend. The lodge and the restaurant is running by a lovely couple, they always tried to make us happy and we felt hardly welcomed.
