Kulandila, meaning to receive/to welcome, is a safari camp located along the magnificent banks of Luangwa River. Set amongst the Lala palms and lush vegetation the camp is designed for leisure where you can look up and feel real peace. The camp comprises of four elevated tents with unique pathways that lets you linger around public areas. There is a swimming pool and viewing decks and an al-fresco style dining area.
Game viewing activities
Kulandila Camp offer a wide range of game viewing activities ranging from guided game drives to walking safaris. Set off from the camp on a cool morning to enhance your chances of incredible animal sightings in this spectacular wildlife haven. The ever-friendly guides are so generous in sharing their skills and passion for the wilderness and give you great insights about the Luangwa Valley and all that it contains.
Amenities
The four safari tents have amenities that ensure a safe and comfortable stay during the whole period of your visit. The rooms have an indoor bed and an outside seating with adjoining private veranda. They also feature an indoor bathroom (with shower, toilet, and basins) and an outdoor bath with great views. There are mosquito nets and a good sized cupboard with hanging space and shelves. Tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary daily laundry services, Ceiling fans and 24-hour power are all available.
Food
The menus are created from the Sungani kitchen and again, they aim for simple and locally sourced wherever possible. They will accommodate any dietaries or nutritional requirements. The bar opens mid-morning and serves a cocktail/mocktail menu, fine wines, beers, and spirits. There is a tea and coffee bar where you can help yourself or one the team will be able to assist you throughout the day.
