Exceptional Location

Nestled in one of the most pristine corners of Hwange National Park, Jozibanini Camp is a sanctuary for wildlife enthusiasts. The park, larger than the Serengeti, is home to a remarkable diversity of animals and one of the world’s largest elephant populations. Visitors here will experience a true sense of exclusivity, often finding themselves immersed in nature without the crowds, as the park remains less frequented compared to other major African wildlife areas. Accessible via a scenic flight from Victoria Falls or the unique Elephant Express, Jozibanini is a haven for those who appreciate the wilderness in its purest form.

Unique Activities

Jozibanini Camp offers a variety of thrilling activities that allow guests to connect deeply with the wild. From intimate walking safaris guided by expert professionals to the unique experience of the Look-up sunken hide, visitors can enjoy some of the best wildlife sightings in Africa. For those looking for a bit more action, mountain biking through ancient sand dunes provides an exhilarating way to explore the terrain. With regular visits to waterholes, game drives, and the chance to track game on foot, every activity at Jozibanini offers something truly special.

  • Imvelo Jozibanini Camp (Brilliant!!)

“Mbeks and his team were brilliant hosts for our Jozi Imvelo experience. We were the only guests just before the camp closed for the season. Jozi is remote – like 50km from the nearest camp but this is perhaps the closest experience you will get to Wild Glamping in the bush in the knowledge that you are as safe as you can be. Not only is the guiding beyond 5 stars, the camp team from the cook to the cleaner are seasoned bush people too. When the sun sets, there was a chorus of over 100 elephant jostling for running water with the added baritone of the male lion belting out a gut wrenching call across the pan.”

  • You get “respect” from other guides if you stay at Jozibanini

“After our 3 nights at Jozibanini, many guides and other safari-camp visitors told us that Jozibanini was the authentic experience and therefore their favorite of all the camps. I was literally picturing Ernest Hemingway and his party staying in a camp just like this back in the 1930s. I think anyone who is at least somewhat outdoorsy would do just fine at a remote location with accommodations like this, they take very good care of you. My family of four thoroughly enjoyed the walking, biking, and vehicle game drives as well as the super-close proximity to the pan (watering hole). Jozi does not have a central “lodge” like many of the camps have, so you are eating meals that have been cooked in an ancient wood-fired stove or grilled over a fire, but they were the most fantastic camping meals I’ve had and are served on fine plates with real flatware right in sight of elephant families gathering around the water.”

  • Fantastic

“Just back from an amazing trip in Zimbabwe and I feel lost for words as to how to describe all that we saw and experienced, but my daydreams constantly return me to our time in Jozibanini camp with Dean and all the staff. We had the best time ever in their company for 3 nights. We came as strangers and left as friends, and I struggled to leave the camp when I did. If you want to immerse yourself in just being in the moment without the trappings of modern life well this is for you.”
