Lodge is a place where the sunrise wakes you up in your eco-luxe chalet as you peak out over the
magnificent Zambezi River listening to the sounds of the river.

Falls , historical tours, river cruises, Chundukwa Horse Trails, and shopping at the local market to

River Lodge will give you the perfect holiday experience.

  • Perfect end to our holiday

This was an all too brief but very relaxing stay at the end of a safari holiday in Botswana. The location is beautiful…our lodge had a balcony overlooking the Zambezi; monkeys in the trees and hippos in the river. We had the perfect welcome from Precious and Augustine. The food cooked by Henry was wonderful with dinner served on the terrace, surrounded by candles, overlooking the river. Spectacular! They even served a pretty good ‘full English’ breakfast.

  • Exceptional

What an exceptional place to experience the hospitality and beauty of Zambia. Gail and Doug have created an oasis on the banks of the Zambezi river. Accommodation, food, people are truly out of this world! Lodges individually designed and decorated with locally sourced materials, looking directly out onto the mighty river echoing with the sounds of local wildlife – stunning

  • Perfect

From start to finish, our three day stay here was just PERFECT. Before we arrived, Gail and Auggs kept in touch with us about what we wanted to do and organised everything superbly. Doug was in camp to meet us and together with his staff, they took care of everything we needed. I can fully recommend having a driver for the day around Livingstone – well worth it. Our driver, Shakos, was superb and looked after us very well. My god-daughter did a morning’s horse ride which she thoroughly enjoyed. Everywhere was clean and tidy, the rooms very comfortable and the food delicious. Truly could not fault this place. A very big thank you to Doug, Gail and their superb team … xx
