Situated at Katengahumba Island, Chula Camp was founded in 2019 detached from the mainland by the famous canoeing area known as the “Discovery” channel. This private Island gives unique views over the Zambezi River. The wilderness and wildlife experiences are second to none with the finest big game viewing in Africa.
Chula is a stunning island camp with 5 guest tents to cater for only 10 people at once, with each tent sparsely located for best views of the Zambezi River. The main area is stretched set under mahogany trees, making it a perfect location for meals, reading, charging cameras, and watching game.
Simply put, this area has some of the best game viewing in Africa accompanied by natural scenic beauty. There is a high density of elephants that gather at the onset of the dry season together with herds of buffalo and impala. There are also plenty of predators such as lion, leopard, and wild dogs.
