Outstanding boutique hotel in Lilongwe
Burley House in Lilongwe is a nice boutique hotel in a residential area of Lilongwe, well situated, well managed and charming. A small boutique hotel has a personal and friendly staff, providing a family atmosphere with excellent accommodations and facilities. The cuisine and service are amazing in the middle of a beautiful garden and friendly staff.

Unusually good
I have been visiting Lilongwe about five times a year and never found a really nice place to stay…until now. Burley House is a huge house in a lovely garden. It is all open-plan, giving a sense of space and bringing the outside in. The room was carpeted, had quality soft furnishings, a huge bed, satellite TV and aircon. The bathroom was modern and well done. All the staff I met were excellent and both dinner and breakfast were creative, well-presented and tasty. Food prices were very reasonable. It is hard to find a stylish and characterful place in Lilongwe. This is it!

Brilliant friendly guesthouse with great food and lovely garden
Burley house is a lovely place in suburban Lilongwe, great food, lovely friendly staff, a nice garden and the feeling that you are a guest in someone’s home rather than in an impersonal hotel. The staff can order you taxis if you need to get somewhere, go out for dinner etc – very reasonable cost for the taxi.
