Walking safaris

Offering only walking safaris, Big Lagoon is in an exceptional area of northern South Luangwa National Park. Their experienced guides know the area and animal behaviour expertly so you can be rest assured you are in good hands. Learn about the big and little details of the Zambian wilderness as you search for animals and birds, as well as being educated about the flora and insects along the way.

 

Only three chalets

Exquisite lagoon views

Set on the banks of a stunning lagoon, hence the name, you will be treated to a myriad of wildlife and birdlife coming close to the camp to drink and bathe meaning you can experience the best of the bush, even when you’re not on an activity. Watch elephants frolic and bathe while you’re sitting on the overhanging deck, eating your lunch al fresco or even from the comfort of your bed.
