The lodge is removed from the hustle and bustle of the crowds at the Falls, situated in a residential area so offers the perfect, quiet escape for those passing through. This is the perfect place to stay if you are heading home from a safari or are just about to start your journey.
The Hosts
The hosts are warm, welcoming and make you feel right at home from the minute you arrive. The hospitality you receive is humbling, together between them they have over 30 year’s experience and go that extra mile to ensure that your stay at Bayete Guest Lodge is a memorable and unique experience. You feel like you are at home and this is resonated throughout your stay, from the lovely touches in the rooms, the delicious breakfasts and even the homecooked lunches and dinners. You will want to come back and see them, you feel just like family.
The Rooms
Each room is spacious and well equipped with all you need during your stay. All slightly different in style and offer distinctive features, so be sure to check and ask for anything in particular if you require it (bath or shower for example). You have a choice too of deluxe rooms, executive rooms, the family cottage or the ever so glamourous, honeymoon suite. The rooms look out onto the well-manicured gardens which you can access through the double doors in you room and enjoy some quiet time on your patio.
Central Area
There is a lovely pool in the main area and within the beautiful gardens, this is the main feature of the central area. Around this is the Boma and Tavern where you can enjoy all meals or have a sundowner in the evening. Whether you want to cool off in the pool in the day, sit around the lawn chairs in peace and quiet in this little oasis or head to the bar in the evening for a few drinks, all in a stunning and true African setting. The main area is a focal point of the lodge, a place of seclusion and peace in a gorgeous setting.

Wonderful Accommodation and staff
We stayed two nights at the tail end of our trip through Namibia and Botswana. Bayette Guest lodge was certainly up there with service. The accommodation was comfortable and quiet the bed provided an excellent nights sleep. Meals, we ate in the dining room on the first evening and it was excellent, breakfasts were included and were plentiful.

Lovely place to stay on your trip to victoria falls
We stayed at Bayete for 2 nights while visiting Victoria Falls. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. The room was large, comfortable and very clean. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bayete to anyone looking for a more intimate experience in Victoria Falls.
