  • A wonderful time in the Tea Estates

AWT was a wonderful respite from the hustle and bustle of Blantyre. the drive alone was wonderful with views of the scenic Mulanje tea estates. AWT itself is a very lovely and well-kept lodge, the gardens were very well kept and manicured offering freedom to do outdoor activities. the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Dinner was amazing in the garden with a lovely bonfire. very romantic. the only let down was breakfast as it did not offer a hearty English breakfast.

  • Peaceful night in Mulanje

We had a night at AWT and it was truly great, the staff was hospitable and the rooms were clean and had a great ambiance. They also arranged a morning hike for us with food and a guide, it was beautiful.

  • Beautiful

We stayed here with other families and found it to be a great escape from Blantyre. Amazing food, fantastic service from the professional staff, and a fabulous location. The small pool is a great addition for children and kept them happy in the heat. Be sure to go for a walk in the tea fields and visit the amazing natural pools, which are about half an hour away by car.
