Chobe Water Villas is an exclusive all-villa river lodge set on the banks of the Chobe River in Namibia’s Zambezi Region, overlooking the wildlife-rich landscapes of Chobe National Park. With only 16 water villas suspended along the river’s edge, the lodge offers a refined and immersive Chobe experience where wildlife, water, privacy and personalized hospitality come together. Guests can move between river safaris, Chobe game drives, cultural touring, fishing, wellness treatments and elegant riverside dining.
Riverfront Water Villas
The lodge offers 16 Luxury Water Villas, each positioned over or beside the water with panoramic views from a private deck. Each villa is approximately 85m² and includes a lounge and bedroom area, a terrace, minibar and uninterrupted views across the Chobe River, Sedudu Island and the opposite riverbank.
Chobe Safari by Land and Water
Guests can experience the Chobe ecosystem through boat cruises, Chobe National Park game drives, birding, fishing and cultural visits. River safaris are a key part of the stay, with wildlife often seen along the banks, including Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo and rich birdlife.
Dining, Wellness and Slow River Living
The lodge combines boutique hospitality with carefully curated dining, high tea, in-villa minibar options, a cocktail bar, lounges, outdoor spaces and wellness treatments. It is well suited to couples, honeymooners and guests wanting a softer, more luxurious Chobe stay with strong river atmosphere.
Open all year: Rate period runs from 01 January 2026 to 30 June 2028.
Best safari period: The dry months from around June to October are strong for Elephant and general wildlife activity along the Chobe River.
Good green season: November to March can be rewarding for birding, lush scenery and quieter travel, although weather and water conditions should be checked.
Activities are subject to availability and any national park fee changes may be reflected in rates.
