Day 1-4

Majete Wildlife Reserve | Thawale Camp

Fly in to Chileka International Airport, meet and greet with transfers to Majete Wildlife Reserve. Stay for the first 3 nights at Thawale Tented Camp. Set on the edge of the beautiful Majete Wildlife Reserve in the lower Shire Valley, Thawale is a rustic haven that offers guests the opportunity to experience the Big 5. Activities include night drives, game drives, bush walks, bird walks, boat trips, and hill hikes.

Day 4-7

Liwonde National Park | Mvuu Lodge

Guided road transfers to Liwonde National Park. Stay for 3 nights at Mvuu Lodge situated along the mighty Shire River. Located in front of a large pan off the river which attracts a number of wild visitors throughout the day and night, such as hippos, crocodiles, elephants, baboons, antelope and more, you will find Mvuu Lodge nestled among Fever trees and Baobabs.

Experiences and activities include safari game drives, boating safaris and walking safaris to see the fantastic wildlife here including lions, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, wild dog, black rhino, zebra and an extraordinary number of unique birds.

Day 7-9

Ilha de Mozambique | Villa Sands

Guided road transfers to Lilongwe International Airport, catch your scheduled flight to Nampula Airport (Mozambique), meet and greet with transfers to Villa Sands in Ilha de Mozambique. Stay for 2 nights at Villa Sands. Villa Sands is a beautiful boutique hotel located on the western beach of Mozambique Island. Embrace Mozambique’s colourful history and culture of Ilha De Mozambique, Mozambique’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy freshly caught langouste lobsters, prawns, and fish prepared in a variety of ways. Enjoy the freedom of the ocean by taking trips with the hotel’s boat. Visit nearby islands with its white coral beaches, or swim in the crystal-clear waters of the mangroves. You can also take trips with Ilha Blue Island Safaris, who offer boat trips, kayaking, snorkeling, whale watching, bicycle tours, etc.

Day 9-12

Ilha de Mozambique | Coral Lodge

Guided boat transfers across the ocean to Coral Lodge, stay for 3 nights. Ten luxurious villas, set on a breathtaking peninsula, with pristine beaches and a winding lagoon. The crystal-clear lagoon provides the perfect snorkeling experience. Glide over the turquoise waters of the lagoon, and slowly meander through the maze of mangroves, on a stand-up paddleboard. Or discover the beauty of the lagoon, bright sandy beaches, and the meandering mangroves, in a Coral Lodge canoe. Coral Lodge also offers half-day sailing experience to view whales and dolphins by traditional boat or in a motorised boat.

Day 12-15

Nuarro | Nuarro Lodge

Guided road transfers to Nuarro Lodge, stay for the last 3 nights. Backed by the wild Mozambican bush, fringed with old and established baobab trees to the back; and fronted by the calm and aquamarine bay of Nanatha, the lodge is peppered along a more than 2km-long, powdery-white beach in the middle. The wide variety of activities available at Nuarro Lodge will keep guests of all ages as active or relaxed as they choose! For the more active, there are all the marine excursions, which include diving, snorkeling, whale watching, dhow sailing, kayaking, board paddling and sunset cruises, just to name a few. Land lovers can enjoy a picnic on a private beach of their choice, a leisurely stroll to the nearby village, bird watching, an adventurous mountain bike road to the lighthouse, or enjoy a bush drive!

Day 15

End of tour

Today you will be transferred back to Nampula Airport for your onward flight.
