A warm welcome to Malawi! On your arrival at Chileka International Airport, a Crafted Africa driver/guide will welcome you. After collecting your luggage, your driver/guide will transfer you down to Majete Wildlife Reserve, an incredible conservation success story and Malawi’s only Big Five Park with thriving animal populations and plentiful birdlife. You will spend the first two nights of your tour at Mkulumadzi Lodge situated along the Shire River right within the park.

In the morning today your driver/guide will transfer you to Huntingdon House to enjoy two nights at this glamorous colonial house surrounded by unparalleled beauty, the Satemwa Tea Estate. Enjoy a different and exciting side of this wonderful country.

As your tour continues to get more exciting, your driver/guide will today transfer you to Kuthengo Camp situated on a flat plain overlooking the mighty Shire River with great views across the river right within Liwonde National Park.

Spend four nights on the Shire River exploring the conservation success that is Liwonde National Park on land and on the river, from its thriving populations of black rhinos and cheetahs to the endless bird species. The perfect place to experience Malawi’s flourishing wildlife.

We will now take you to Likoma Island, an island paradise getaway standing majestically within the fresh waters of Lake Malawi. Your driver/guide will transfer you to Lilongwe International Airport to catch your flight to Likoma Airport, meet and greet with guided transfers to Kaya Mawa Lodge. You will spend five nights on your tour here.

Today we will cross the border into Zambia. A representative from Kaya Mawa will today transfer you to Likoma Airport to catch your flight to Mfuwe Airport in South Luangwa, meet and greet with transfers to Nkwali Camp, set downriver from the main entrance of the park where you can access the park even by boat across the river. You will spend the last four nights of your tour here.

Departure Day. Alas, all good things must come to an end. You will be transferred to Mfuwe Airport to catch your flight to Lusaka for your onward travel.
