South Luangwa Adventure

Welcome to Zambia! On your arrival at Lusaka International Airport, you will connect with another flight to Mfuwe Airport in South Luangwa, meet and greet with transfers to Chikunto Safari Lodge. You will spend the first four nights of your tour here.

Today a representative from Chikunto Safari Lodge will transfer through the park to Mwamba Camp, a sister camp to Kaingo owned by Shenton Safaris and is a proper “bush camp”. The four thatched chalets have open (but private) bathrooms so you can see the wild bush around you as you wash off the dust from your activities. It has all the comforts you would need along with an almost untraceable eco-footprint. You will spend two nights of your tour here.

As your tour continues to get more exciting you will today have a game drive transfer to Kaingo Camp, a luxury lodge based in the middle of the bush, in the quieter northern sector of South Luangwa, a photographer’s dream.

Shenton excels with their range of unique hides and sleep-out spots. Encouraging you to get up close and personal they have a range of nooks they can take you to where you can watch the wildlife uninterrupted and close enough to leave the zoom lens in the bag! You will spend the next two nights of your tour here.

Next on the list is Lion Camp, one of the more luxurious lodges in South Luangwa. With a heavy influence from lodges in South Africa, you can expect great service, great food, and great guiding with the opulence of a boutique hotel in the bush. You will spend the last four nights on your tour here.

Departure Day. End of your tour! Today you will be transferred to Mfuwe Airport to catch your flight to Lusaka.
