Itinerary

Day 1-2

Lilongwe | Kumbali lodge

A warm welcome to Malawi! Upon your arrival at Lilongwe International Airport, a Crafted Africa driver/guide will welcome you. After collecting your luggage, he will transfer you to Kumbali Country Lodge, a perfect stopover before you embark on your Malawi Adventure.

Day 2-5

Liwonde National Park | Mvuu Camp

Today you will embark on your warm heart adventure. Your driver/guide will transfer you to Liwonde National Park, Malawi’s wildlife conservation success story. You will be staying at Mvuu Camp located along the mighty Shire River right within the park. You are set to enjoy delicious meals and spectacular game viewing activities on your game-viewing activities here.

Day 5-7

Zomba | Zomba Forest Lodge

We will now take you to Zomba, Malawi’s first colonial city in the south-eastern part of Malawi. You will spend two nights at Zomba Forest Lodge, an old colonial house located at the edge of Zomba Plateau with great views across the Shire Valley Mountain ranges and mount Mulanje far south. While here, you will have guided walks on Zomba Plateau.

Day 7-10

Majete Wildlife Reserve | Thawale Tented Camp

Next up is Majete Wildlife Reserve, Malawi’s only Big 5 Park. You will be staying at Thawale Tented Camp located right within the park boasting a watering hole right in front of the reception area where lots of wildlife roam around in search of drinking water. You will stay here for three nights of your tour.

Day 10-13

Gorongosa National Park | Wild Camp

As your tour continues to get better, today you will head to Mozambique. Your driver/guide will transfer you to Chileka International Airport in Blantyre to catch your charter flight directly to Chitengo Airstrip in Gorongosa National Park. Here, a representative from Wild Camp will welcome an transfer you to the camp. You will spend three nights here. Wild Camp Lodge is a unique eco-friendly lodge located in Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique. It offers a wild camping experience, where guests can pitch their own tents and enjoy the wilderness. It offers eco-friendly accommodations. Guests can participate in guided safaris and game drives to spot wildlife, including the Big Five.

Day 15-20

Bazaruto Island | Zenguelemo Lodge
As you are still creating amazing memories in Mozambique, you will embark on an adventure to Bazaruta Island, where you will enjoy the most unforgettable moments on this island getaway. You will be transferred to Chitengo Airstrip to catch your private charter flight to Vilanculos Airport. from there, you will catch another helicopter flight to Zenguelemo helipad, meet and greet with transfers to Zenguelemo. You will spend five nights here. 
 
Zenguelemo Lodge offers stunning views of the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and is surrounded by pristine white sandy beaches. There are plenty of activities to enjoy at Zenguelemo Lodge, including snorkeling, diving, fishing, and boat trips to explore the surrounding islands.

Day 20

End of tour

End of your tour! You will be transferred to the helipad to catch your flight to Vilanculos Airport for your flight out.
