Fly into Vilanculos Airport, meet and greet with transfers to Rio Azul Lodge, stay for four nights. Surrounded by a magnificent mangrove forest that the lodge is dedicated to protecting, it’s the perfect setting for travelers with a love of nature and a taste for adventure. You are encouraged to indulge in a wide range of water and beach activities, such as guided lagoon and mangrove forest cruises, which offer exceptional birding, as well as boat trips to the Bazaruto Archipelago where you are likely to encounter turtles, dolphins, and perhaps even whale sharks. Indulge in a beach picnic where freshly caught fish is cooked on an open fire, or go snorkelling in the mangroves spotting colourful fish hiding in the underwater labyrinth that is a vital natural resource.

Guided transfer to Massinga Beach Lodge, stay for 2 nights. Massinga Beach sits above a stretch of endless, remarkably private, beach overlooking the azure Indian Ocean. Facilities include a Leisure Centre with a 180° view of the coastline and Indian Ocean beyond plus a Beach Bar and swimming pool right at the edge of the warm sea. Various beach games, kayaking, table tennis and pool table at the beach bar plus snorkelling and rock-fishing a mere +-2km walk up the pristine beach (arrangements may be made for vehicle transfer) and disc golf in the palm groves are available. In-room massage therapy, seasonal whale-watching and amazing star-gazing all add to Massinga Beach’s appeal.

Guided transfer down to Tofo, to Baia Sonambula, stay for 3 nights. The Baia Sonambula Guesthouse is a tropical paradise just a few steps away from the beach at Tofo. Dive centres, bars and restaurants are all within walking distance of this beach haven property. During your stay, guests can start each morning with a delicious breakfast. Guided road transfers to Travessia Lodge, stay for two nights.
