Day 1-3

Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve | Rafiki Safari Camp

Welcome to Malawi! Arrive at Lilongwe International Airport, meet and greet with transfers to Rafiki Safari Camp by the Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve, a classic safari camp that offers you a unique, tranquil wilderness experience, with all the necessary comforts and luxuries to make your safari holiday special.

With idyllic views and a self-service bar, sit comfortably at the Boma and enjoy 2 nights here for a unique and “up-close” wilderness experience. 

Day 3-5

Senga Bay, Lake Malawi | Casa Costantini

Your driver/guide will today transfer you to Senga Bay, Lake Malawi for your beach break. You will spend the next 2 nights at Casa Costantini.

This is a family run lodge on the shores of the glorious Lake Malawi that offers good food, friendly staff and comfortable accommodation; a stylish homely getaway for the whole family to enjoy. Relax on the sandy beach or by the pool to soak up the sun. Appreciate the peaceful surroundings of the luscious gardens.

Day 5-8

Liwonde National Park | Kutchire Lodge

Next your driver/guide will take you to Liwonde National Park to stay at Kutchire Lodge situated at the base of Chinguni Hills just outside the park boundary. 

After your arrival at Kutchire Lodge, enjoy your lunch at the camp and go on an afternoon/night game drive with an experienced guide to search for the spectacular wildlife that can be spotted in Malawi including lions, elephants, cheetah, leopards, sable antelopes, impalas, black rhinos together with exceptional birdlife comprising of about 370 species.  

Day 8-11

Majete Wildlife Reserve | Thawale Camp

You will wind up your Malawi Adventure with 3 nights at the big 5 Wildlife Reserves, Majete. Your driver/guide will transfer you to stay at Thawale Camp, a classic tented camp set on the edge of a pristine waterhole that regularly attracts a wide variety of wildlife, including a family of elephants that often frequent the area. 

Set on the edge of the beautiful Majete Wildlife Reserve in the lower Shire Valley, Thawale is a rustic haven that offers guests the opportunity to experience the Big 5. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious and you can enjoy the views over the watering hole from the comfort of your private veranda.

Day 11

End of itinerary

End of tour! You will have a boat transfer to Cape Maclear to meet your driver/guide who will then transfer you to Lilongwe International Airport for your onward travel back home.
