Gonarezhou National Park

A remote and vast park with just a few camps, Gonarezhou is one of Africa’s wildest areas! In the far southeast of Zimbabwe it corners Mozambique and South Africa and is part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park to allow for animal corridors through all 3 countries. The draw is the unspoiled wilderness and the impressive Chilojo Cliffs. Whilst the game may take a little longer to find here it is well worth it with large packs of wild dog and impressive herds of elephants. There is a huge variety of activities from hiking along the clifftop to searching for hidden waterfalls, the birding is spectacular and the guides here are top-notch.
